A massive pair of Japanese Meji Period vases thats from 1880, each panelled in an hexagonal shape depicites a different scene. Fine gilding and hand enameling on 24k gold immitating lotus flowers, with Imperial scenes and spirit blossoms on a deep cobalt blue colour base.
