This Samuel Alcock Griffin vase is decorated in Sevres colour Celeste Blue with a gorgeous hand painted landscape on one side and a lavish gilt detail on the other.  it has a bulbous body with a perforated neck in the finest Rococo style. The landscape is painted in beautiful autumnal colours but the highlight feature of the vase is its two handles which consists of griffins. This vase was manufactured in 1840's and is in perfect condition.
