Aynsley signed porcelain dessert service comprising five various plates and a comport, all with handpainted named scenes to include Bridge of Doon, Richmond Castle, Dunstaffnage Castle and Kilchurn Castle. Each scenery is surrounded by a gilt and blue ground. R J Keeling was an artist working for Aynley factory from 1900 to 1938 and is well known for his beautiful studies of British Isles and Irish Scenery.
Each plate has copius amounts of raised gilt which adds enormously to the beauty of the scene thus making them an exceptional collection. In perfect condition.
