A Spode porcelain  dessert service, circa 1840s, each piece well painted with flower groups against a claret ground, this colour depicting Royalty. Rims of Plates have Handpainted Cartouches that gives an elegant appearance.

The service  comprises; a pair of two-handled ice pails and covers. two low circular stands. Sixteen dessert plates, printed retailer's mark, Thos. Sharpus & Co. ,13 Cockspur Street,     22 pieces in total.

Ice pails and covers- lacking liners. Some minor wear to gilding in places but overall in good condition. 2 Low stands. Overall very good condition, ware consistent with age.
