A Pair Of Large Impressive 19th Century French Gilt Bronze Mounted Sèvres Style Bisque Porcelain Vase And Lids in the Louis XV style, with spiralling fluting throughout on square plinth bases.
They are ovoid in form and mounted with gilt bronze scrolled acanthus leaves at the corners of the bases, the handles and on the domed lids. The handles extend down the sides and sites on the shoulders or neck and attaches to the gilt frieze around mouth of the vases. The body of the vases with relief decoration of floral garlands and swags, with ornate gilt scrolling.
The undersides of the covers impressed with 'LL' monogram.
