An absolutely beautiful coffee cup/saucer by H&R Daniel in the shrewsbury shape with cartouches of handpainted summer flowers, various sea shells and corals. The inside of the cup is richly decorated in thick gilt with with a cartouche of summer flowers in a kaleidoscope of colours and  peach coloured vignette depicting a bird singing on a branch all in gilt. The base of cup is also highlighted with gilt.
The saucer also richly decorated with gilt and painted in mazarine blue with three cartouches of flowers and peach cartouches of a singing bird on a branch. Sea shells and flowers decorate the centre of the saucer. Pattern number recorded.
Condition. Both items in excellent condition for age with only minor wear of gilt to the centre of saucer. No restorations.
